I believe plants have the ability to heal body, mind and spirit.

I believe plants have gifts to share if we can be open to receiving them.

I believe working with plants is a gateway into a deeper connection with yourself.

My name is Leah and I have been studying the natural world since childhood. My formal education began at the University of Connecticut where I majored in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. After working in a research lab for a few years, I felt nature calling me to spend my time outdoors. I packed my bags, moved to California and joined a conservation organization where I lived in a tent, built and maintained trails and pulled invasive weeds. It was a magical experience of living in some of California’s most extraordinary places and getting to know the land deeply. I fell in love with this rugged state, the mountains, the beaches and especially the plants. During this time I was also learning about my body and getting to know myself deeper. This set me down a path towards health and wellness that has been an insatiable desire. I’m a 200 hour certified yoga teacher who has taken many herbal and nutrition classes. My passions are Western Herbalism, Ayurveda and Women’s Health. Merging my love of nature and knowledge of the body, I’ve been teaching others about how to connect with their true nature and the natural world. In my free time, I can be found concocting new brews in the kitchen and basking in the beauty of mother nature.
